Hi there! My name is Lisa. I am a TESOL certified English language teacher. I’m passionate about language, linguistics, and culture. I’ve always been interested in writing and language study. I am also a writer, and Substitute Teacher.
I’m currently working on my Masters Degree in Linguistics and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
On this site, I’ll be sharing my adventures in writing and linguistics, as well as my experiences learning about different cultures from around the world. I’m also embarking on a language-learning journey of my own, and I’ll be sharing my progress as I study Italian, Spanish, Dari and Arabic.
I teach students from teen through adult. I work with new English language learners, and I also work with adult students working to polish their language skills for college and the workforce.
